The turnaround time was really quick compared to other wedding photographers I've heard of. The pictures were all shot digitally and we were able to make any of our photos color or black and white, and we could choose other effects as well, and photos were available in a range of sizes. Roy also made sure to photograph impromptu moments between me and my husband, as well as many artistic shots of the cake, placecards, ice sculpture, etc. He takes very good classic photos though, please do not think he's not a good photographer! I never said anything, because I tried not to be a control freak, and remind myself that they (the vendors) know what they're doing, but we didn't get a picture with him dipping me and kissing, or him holding me "bridal style", or that "carrying over the threshold" type picture, and I would have really loved those! Roy's base package I think is around 1600, but we also decided to get an album from him, which is why I rated the total cost of service what I did. Roy took a lot of really great photos, but looking back, we didn't get some pictures that I would have really liked. Once I got the photos, as I look at other's photos, I would have really liked the photojournalistic style a little bit better they are more of the "magazine cover" type pictures. When we were looking for a photographer, we met w/someone who had a photojournalistic style of photography, that was an extreme, and I think it initially turned us off from that style, and is why we turned toward the more classic look of photography for our wedding. All of my bridesmaids (who also couldn't believe how fun he was) have already said that I need to keep his contact info so when they get married they can book him. If I could do it all over again, I would hire Roy every time. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about A Moment in Time Photography.

With the group family photos, he was professional (taking family drama into consideration) but kept it moving.
Anything we came up with on the fly he was happy to do. I didn't even feel exhausted from the photos because he made them so fun. Everyone who came into contact with him at my church, our families and our bridal party had nothing but wonderful things to say about Roy and his second photographer, Chris. It was our wedding day-I was focused on having fun-I couldn't even remember what Pinterest ideas I had sent him but he knew them and made them so much fun. He had notes to follow for the family photos and for fun photos I had wanted to do from Pinterest. Oving and organized so we could enjoy our wedding day.
